I have always found Joan Rivers to be naturally talented and extremely funny, but Joan is at her best in this new hit reality show featuring Joan and her daughter Melissa Rivers. Here is how the WE TV Network describes the show:
In WE tv’s all new series Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best?, Melissa Rivers’s world is rocked when her mother Joan sets out to switch coasts, change her lifestyle and infiltrate Melissa’s home. At times loving and at times tumultuous, this ultimate mother/daughter showdown will address the question plaguing daughters since the beginning of time: does mother really know best?In the show, Joan Rivers moves out of her New York home, heads west to California and moves in with her daughter Melissa Rivers. Although Joan & Melissa are mother and daughter, they are different people on so many levels making this show filled with an abundance of entertaining drama and comedy.
Joan Rivers is an open-minded, free-spirited, quick-witted, somewhat random and a very funny comedian. She loves living her life in the lap of luxury and tends to be somewhat formal when it comes to the style of her home and the concept of family, such as formal home cooked dinners served in the dining room with the best china.
Melissa Rivers tends to be more laid-back, doesn't know how to cook, so the home cooked meals are out of the question, and she issome-what reserved and does't adapt too well to change. Melissa, much like her mother, is very accepting of our diverse society, maybe sometimes too accepting, with consideration to her blonde bimbo live-in nanny who looks like she is fresh off a porn set. Either this nanny was scripted into the reality show, or Melissa is completely naive to allow this young woman to live with her, and also her live-in boyfriend.
There is never a dull moment in Joan & Melissa Rivers reality show. They have a faithful viewer with me (Phillip Brunelle - owner of HollywoodShame.com) and the show is highly recommended to everyone else.
